POSITION OVERVIEW
The Quality Assurance Coordinator will support the QA team in the execution of day-to-day site-based quality assurance activities. This role is critical in ensuring quality benchmarks are met, compliance with relevant standards is maintained, and QA systems are being used effectively by site teams. The position provides a strong foundation for individuals seeking a career in construction quality management.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend project sites to perform quality inspections and support QA processes.
- Monitor and promote compliance with approved methodologies, ITPs, and contract documents.
- Assist in the review and tracking of subcontractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
- Support internal QA audits and reporting.
- Help site teams utilise quality assurance platforms and complete documentation correctly.
- Provide feedback from site to support continuous improvement initiatives in QA systems and processes.
- Contribute to the training and onboarding of site staff in QA procedures, as required.
TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE
- Tertiary qualification in construction, engineering, or a related discipline (preferred but not essential).
- Previous site experience in QA, coordination, or supervision roles is advantageous.
- Knowledge of the National Construction Code (NCC) and relevant Australian Standards.
- Understanding of waterproofing and passive fire protection compliance.
- Familiarity with QA systems and documentation in a commercial construction environment.
- Strong digital literacy, including the ability to navigate QA software and mobile-based inspection platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and practical problem-solving skills.
- Proactive mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Clear communicator – both verbal and written.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
