Hickory has signed the head contract with Eco World-Salcon Y1 Pty Ltd to build new landmark development in South Yarra’s coveted Forrest Hill precinct.
Designed by Fender Katsalidis, Yarra One is a 27 storey residential apartment tower consisting of 256 dwellings over an area of 37,500 sqm. It features a range of luxurious amenity spaces, including a library, dining room, gym, wellness retreat and wine room.
Yarra One has been designed with the needs of the broader community in mind, with the ground floor atrium to become a fixture on Claremont Street. Encased by a grand timber trellis, the atrium will become a vibrant meeting place for both residents and the community to meet, shop and dine, featuring cafés, restaurants and retail spaces. It serves as a proud entrance for residents, as well as a public spaced designed to be enjoyed by all.
With a 25 month construction programme, the project is due for completion in July 2020.
