This 3,600m2 site will be the first new development on the Bourke Street Mall in over 50 years. The redevelopment of The Walk Arcade will retain, protect and restore key façades including Diamond House, Public Benefit Bootery, Allans Building and York Building.
The Walk Redevelopment will feature 450 hotel rooms across two IHG brands Indigo & Holiday Inn a public rooftop bar and a gymnasium for guests to enjoy. Construction will utilise Hickory Building Systems & SYNC Bathroom Pods to fast-track the construction process and limit the number of deliveries due to the busy location of the site.
