POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking a Workspace Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day operations, performance and member experience across FLEX at our Bourke and Bowden location.
The Workspace Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the workspace operates at a premium standard, delivering exceptional customer experience while driving occupancy, retention and ancillary revenue opportunities across meeting rooms, event spaces and concierge services.
This role is responsible for leading all aspects of workspace operations including member onboarding, contract administration, facilities coordination, financial performance, reporting and community engagement.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage end-to-end FLEX workspace operations including onboarding, renewals, terminations and member management.
  • Oversee daily workspace performance, ensuring a high-quality member and guest experience.
  • Manage service requests, maintenance tickets and ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
  • Conduct regular site walkthroughs to proactively identify issues and improvement opportunities.
  • Drive utilisation of FLEX amenities including meeting rooms, event spaces and concierge services.
  • Oversee billing accuracy, invoicing, arrears management and financial administration of members.
  • Prepare monthly reporting including occupancy, revenue, cashflow and operational performance.
  • Support budgeting, OPEX management and cost control initiatives.
  • Manage lead generation, tours, conversions and sales support activities.
  • Oversee licence agreements, renewals and associated documentation.
  • Work closely with Marketing to support campaigns, content, member engagement and events.
  • Deliver member engagement initiatives including events, networking and community building.
  • Manage workspace systems including OfficeRnD and related operational platforms.
  • Lead and support workspace staff to ensure high performance and service delivery standards.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders across leasing, marketing, finance, IT and legal.

 

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, hospitality, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years’ experience in property management, workplace experience, coworking, hospitality, workspace operations or similar
  • Strong operational management experience with exposure to customer/member environments
  • Financial acumen including budgeting, invoicing, arrears and reporting
  • Experience in developing and managing relationships with key stakeholders including suppliers, contractors, consultants and members
  • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills
  • Intermedium skill level of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Power point)
  • Experience using security platforms such as HID and Integriti or similar security system
  • Experience with systems such as OfficeRnD, Stripe or similar (advantageous)
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
  • Prior coworking, community management or membership-led workspace experience is highly regarded
