Contracts Coordinator (SYNC)

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an experienced Contracts Coordinator to support our commercial and project teams. This role is responsible for managing contract administration, financial compliance, project documentation, and commercial coordination across multiple construction projects.
The Contracts Coordinator will ensure that contractual obligations are met, payments and variations are accurately tracked, and project documentation is maintained to a high standard.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage contract preparation and administration, including subcontract agreements, client documentation, and compliance records.
  • Assist with subcontract commercial administration, including maintaining registers, insurances, securities and contract records.
  • Support financial administration, including payments, progress claims, invoicing, and final accounts.
  • Assist in managing contract variations, claims, and extensions of time in conjunction with Project Managers.
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, registers, and reporting for insurances, warranties, securities, and project records.
  • Provide general administrative and project support across commercial and project teams.
  • Liaise with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to facilitate smooth contract execution and project delivery.

 

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN THE ROLE
  • Experience in contract or project administration, preferably in construction or manufacturing.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident handling documentation, compliance, and financial processes.
  • Proficient in Excel and systems; experience with job management software advantageous.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across teams and stakeholders.
  • Bachelor of Business Administration / Management, Project Management, Construction Management or equivalent will be advantageous
