POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting directly to the Head of Property, we are seeking to grow our Development Team with a passionate and motivated Development Manager. This role allows the successful candidate to work autonomously and make a meaningful contribution to the design and delivery of our development pipeline across Victoria, while being part of a high‑performing and dynamic team.
Our existing and upcoming development projects include large‑scale high‑density residential, mixed‑use and industrial projects across Victoria. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the full development lifecycle, from feasibility studies through to delivery and handover, including planning proposals and development applications.
- Oversee and make meaningful contributions to sales and leasing strategies.
- Manage and monitor key project performance metrics, including budget, quality, program, sales and marketing.
- Provide strategic input on acquisitions and development feasibilities.
- Ensure projects align with company standards, design briefs, delivery requirements and stakeholder requirements and objectives.
- Coordinate pre-construction, construction, and project completion deliverables.
- Develop and manage relationships with joint venture partners, consultants and internal and external stakeholders.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years’ experience in a Development Manager role.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Architecture, Property Development, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
- Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks.
- Proven track record delivering large‑scale, high‑density mixed‑use developments (200+ apartments). Industrial development experience is preferred but not essential.
- A collaborative and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
- Commercially minded, detail‑focused and results‑driven.
- Exposure to Estate Master or similar financial feasibility tools is preferred
