POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting directly to the Head of Property, we are seeking to grow our Development Team with a passionate and motivated Development Manager. This role allows the successful candidate to work autonomously and make a meaningful contribution to the design and delivery of our development pipeline across Victoria, while being part of a high‑performing and dynamic team.
Our existing and upcoming development projects include large‑scale high‑density residential, mixed‑use and industrial projects across Victoria. This role offers scope to drive and lead project outcomes, manage key stakeholder relationships, influence design and construction decisions, and ensure delivery targets are achieved.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead the full development lifecycle, from feasibility studies through to delivery and handover, including planning proposals and development applications.
  • Oversee and make meaningful contributions to sales and leasing strategies.
  • Manage and monitor key project performance metrics, including budget, quality, program, sales and marketing.
  • Provide strategic input on acquisitions and development feasibilities.
  • Ensure projects align with company standards, design briefs, delivery requirements and stakeholder requirements and objectives.
  • Coordinate pre-construction, construction, and project completion deliverables.
  • Develop and manage relationships with joint venture partners, consultants and internal and external stakeholders.

 

REQUIREMENTS
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Development Manager role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant field such as Architecture, Property Development, Urban Planning or a related discipline.
  • Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks.
  • Proven track record delivering large‑scale, high‑density mixed‑use developments (200+ apartments). Industrial development experience is preferred but not essential.
  • A collaborative and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast‑paced team environment.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication and leadership skills.
  • Commercially minded, detail‑focused and results‑driven.
  • Exposure to Estate Master or similar financial feasibility tools is preferred
