Spanning five architecturally distinct buildings, the project comprises approximately 475 apartments with integrated retail and commercial spaces at street level. Residents will enjoy communal rooftop terraces, activated ground-floor interfaces, and a publicly accessible East–West pedestrian link. A key pedestrian thoroughfare will connect the Maribyrnong River, the site and the Footscray Activity Centre, enhancing community interaction and movement throughout the precinct. The project also includes the sensitive refurbishment of a heritage façade, blending historical character with contemporary urban living.
Features
The project will employ a combination of conventional methods and potential Hickory Building Systems (HBS) integration within Building C.
Vertical movement is enabled through four tower cranes and multiple Alimaks, supporting efficient logistics across a complex urban site.
The structure will utilise a hybrid system of in-situ foundations, floor plates and precast vertical elements.
Two on-site prototype apartments will be constructed early in the program, supporting quality control and coordination across trades.
