Hickory’s scope of work includes the demolition of the existing carpark and building elements and the construction of the new walkway to connect Hickory built Chadstone Hotel to the existing Chadstone Shopping Centre.

Overseas design inspired by MAKE Architects incorporated timber structural elements, tensile fabric roof and travellators to create an iconic and practical space to join the two buildings.

Made with Tensile fabric roofing material and glulam structural timber.

Overseas procurement knowledge and experience facilitated excellent programming of the works to facilitate Vicinity Centre requirements.

Detailed staging plans developed to work within Vicinity Centre requirements for Carparking, Customer access to shopping centre and minimising disruption.

A dust management plan to control, monitor and identify all dust generating activities during all stages of the construction to help minimise disruption to customers and the broader Chadstone community.
