Melbourne Walk delivers IHG's first dual branded hotel in Australia
As part of the Melbourne Walk development, Hickory proudly delivered Australia’s first dual-branded IHG hotel, comprising Hotel Indigo Melbourne and Holiday Inn Melbourne. Situated in the heart of the newly revitalised Melbourne Walk precinct, this landmark project brings together two globally recognised brands in one dynamic development. The project represents an eight-year transformation of a key CBD site, now offering premium accommodation on the doorstep of Melbourne’s iconic Bourke Street Mall.
The dual-branded hotel showcases Hickory’s expertise in complex, inner-city construction and adaptive reuse. The Holiday Inn marks the brand’s return to Melbourne’s CBD with a fresh new interior design, while Hotel Indigo offers a boutique experience inspired by the local neighbourhood’s character and history.
