Standing at the nexus of the CBD, South Melbourne and the Arts Precinct, Queensbridge brings a distinct personality to Southbank. A mixed-use tower of apartments, hospitality and shared space, wrapped in a façade of steel, stone and bronze that nods to the postcode’s maritime past.
Behind its form is a build that challenged convention. Rather than construct the façade piece by piece at height, we assembled it as complete units in a controlled environment — taking work off the critical path, shortening the program and making the site safer at every level.
The result speaks for itself: one of Melbourne’s most ambitious residential towers, delivered to a standard the industry is only beginning to reach — and recognised with the Excellence in Construction Innovation award at the 2026 Urban Developer Awards.
