This $105 million mixed-use development includes retail shopping outlets and 498 residential apartments in the heart of fashionable Chapel Street. Hickory took over the project from another builder from level 2 with both parties working well together to achieve their goals.

Vogue features a curtain wall envelope, extensive podium and common areas, a 25m pool, sauna, spa, gym and high-end residential lobby. In addition, the project includes an expansive secluded landscaped garden, a private park with tennis court, putting green, open-air cinema and a BBQ area.

The building structure consists of post-tensioned slabs with in-situ main stair/lift core, 3x precast stair cores rising 9 floors, 1 x precast lift core rising 6 levels, precast columns (L15 – L30).

Features

Integrated crown facade which was fully manufactured offsite allowing the project to gain on time, cost and quality.

Hickory-designed safety system to fully encapsulate the building, integrated into the curtain wall openings – similar to a car-lock bar extension – which was inserted into the square openings varying in size from 1200-2000mm in which scaffold rails were installed.

Team achieved four-day floor cycles with the structure and a smooth program despite the construction challenges arising from the oblong nature of the building tower.
