We want to thank and acknowledge Benni Aroni as he steps down as Chair of Hickory Group on 30 June 2026.
Benni joined our Board in November 2023 as a Non-Executive Director formalising a relationship built over more than a decade, including our collaboration on the AIA building on Exhibition Street. He joined at a time when Hickory was focused on scaling the business with the right governance, leadership, and strategic foundations to support long-term growth.
His contribution to Hickory has been significant. With his guidance, we grew and matured the business, built a high-calibre Executive Leadership team, and expanded our capability in areas shaping the future of construction including our supply chain in China, data centre construction, and continuing to raise the standard of how we deliver.
We’re glad Benni will remain a friend and supporter of Hickory. His counsel has shaped the business we are today and will continue to influence where we go next.
