Following the successful implementation of our in-house divisions for Facades, Joinery, Structures and Manufacturing, Hickory has established a dedicated team in China to help facilitate the procurement and quality assurance process. We are pleased to announce this team now has a new home, with Hickory officially throwing open the doors of our new office in Guangzhou with a Grand Opening Celebration on Friday 16th October.
Guests attending the opening celebration were treated to a traditional dragon dance, local delicacies and an official ribbon cutting ceremony. Hickory Commercial Director Steve Stavrou officiated the proceedings, noting that the opening of the new office has allowed Hickory to “continue to deliver exceptional value to our clients by giving Hickory direct management over the international supply chain. This gives us a competitive advantage, allowing us to minimise project risk and consistently deliver projects of the highest quality.”
Our multi-lingual Guangzhou employees have vast experience in procurement, quality control and project management of large-scale construction projects, as well as experience working for both Australian and Asian companies. This unique perspective is further strengthening Hickory’s construction capability and helping us to build our business into the future.
