Hickory is proud to have been appointed as builder for Parcel B at Fitzroy Gasworks, 513-home build-to-rent development that will become one of Melbourne’s most significant new residential precincts.
Delivered on behalf of client Assemble, and alongside consultant team Fieldwork, Newbridge, Rincovitch and ADP, the project will deliver a genuine mix of social, affordable and market rental housing across a prominent site bounded by Alexandra Parade and the iconic Smith Street in the City of Yarra.

Alongside new diverse housing, we will help deliver a full-line supermarket, a curated retail offering, extensive public realm improvements, and the creation a new shared roadway, helping to better connect the precinct to the surrounding neighbourhood.
Hickory’s SYNC prefabricated bathroom pods will be installed across all 513 apartments, reflecting our commitment to quality, consistency, and programme certainty through modern methods of construction.
Construction has commenced.
