In late 2017 Hickory reached important milestone in the growth of our business, moving into a new state-of-the-art, purpose-built manufacturing facility in Laverton North.
From this brand new 24,000m2 facility and 20,000 m2of hardstand area we are servicing an extensive and growing pipeline of construction projects in Victoria, and Sync bathroom pod projects interstate.
It also allows Hickory to leverage our internal delivery areas of facades, formwork, logistics, joinery, metalwork and manufacturing - vertically integrating our supply chain and industrialising the traditional construction delivery model. By furthering our capacity to bring key components in house, Hickory can now deliver even greater value and quality to our clients.
In our mission to reduce waste and create greater efficiencies across our business, we were proud to partner with Energy Australia to power the new factory, which included the installation of 624 PV solar panels on the building roof.
To hear more about our solar story, watch Energy Australia’s video documenting the process.
