Pat Hickey has joined Hickory as our specialist lead for Life Sciences and Education — two sectors where we believe our vertically integrated model can deliver genuine, measurable value for clients.
Pat brings over 35 years of experience delivering some of Australia’s most complex and technically demanding construction projects. His portfolio spans pharmaceutical manufacturing, laboratory and research facilities, and large-scale education builds for clients including CSL, GlaxoSmithKline, Merck Sharp & Dohme, Pfizer, Roche, AstraZeneca, CSIRO, Monash University, the University of Melbourne, La Trobe University, Carey Grammar, Ivanhoe Girls Grammar and the Victorian Schools Building Authority — among many others.
His work includes the $450 million CSL Global R&D Headquarters, sterile manufacturing suites, PC3 facilities and major university laboratory programmes. These are environments where compliance, live operational constraints and technical precision aren’t optional — they’re the baseline. Pat knows them inside out.
“My aim is to build a Life Sciences and Education portfolio that establishes Hickory as a preferred partner for institutional and private sector customers.
