Today we celebrated International Women’s Day, we celebrated who we are, our diversity and ways we can #breakthebias together.
Coinciding with this was Endometriosis Awareness week, a complex condition that affects 1 in 9 women.
To help communicate a powerful message of both celebration and awareness, we held a brunch for the women of Hickory, helping us was Julia Argyrou and Dr Kate Tyson (Gynaecologist and head Director of the Julia Argyrou Endometriosis Centre at the Epworth). The unity that was experienced alongside the empowerment International Women’s Day brings helps shape a more supportive, stronger and equal future for the women at Hickory and all over Australia.
