Soil Turning at Invicta Industrial Estate Eases Land Shortage in Bendigo

The Invicta Industrial Estate, East Bendigo is rising with Winslow officially commencing construction onsite. The milestone was celebrated with a soil-turning ceremony joined by Mayor Andrea Metcalf and Deputy Mayor Matthew Evans from the City of Greater Bendigo.

Special thank you to Jason Kerr from Djaara Country for performing a Traditional Smoking Ceremony, a sign of good intentions and respect. Jason welcomed the group to walk beside each other and cleansed the site to open up to good spirits.

Invicta is the city’s first greenfield industrial precinct of its scale in seven years and has helped ease the crippling industrial land shortage with 70% of the lots pre-sold. The 23-hectare site is a true testament to creating better places for future communities.

Congratulations to all involved, we look forward to sharing Invicta Estate’s progress.
